First Project of the Year

5 Jan

My new nephew will be making his debut in February, so I figured it was high time I get crackin’ on his Welcome to Earth blanket…  here’s what it looks like so far:

I’m using my current favorite stitch, the crazy stitch, and although it doesn’t look as cool as it does with other yarns, I’m still pleased with how warm-and-fuzzy this little blankie is turning out!

I also got my first custom order of the year yesterday (woo hoo!), so you’ll be seeing shots of that in the near future!

Happy Wednesday!  })i({

    Is it intentionally done in Earthy globe-like colors because it’s a Welcome to Earth blanket? 🙂 It DOES look super yummy

    A nephew? Is it our side or your side?

    My side… lol! It’d be pretty tough to hide a baby due in February from Mama, I think… =)

    …uhm…why, yes! Yes, that’s exactly what I was thinking when I chose the colors. Thanks for pointing that out…errr, I mean… noticing! =)

    I like the purple scarf! Sad to say I only know one stitch, and you have FAVORITE stitches?!? You rock. 🙂
