I want to say PI but that seems too obvious. So I’ll go with an infinity symbol.

I was thinking PI also and thought that would be too easy!
I’m going to go with Pi, and say that you’re making her a pie holder, or oven mitt to hold pies…yes?
I had actually imagined the she crocheted a PI symbol, possibly as a coaster or bookmark or something…
I’m giong to say a multiplication symbol, but one that looks like a star. Your handmade scarf is gorgeous. I wish I could crochet!
