Free Pattern Friday: Penguin Friend

26 Nov

Dearest Readers,

I fully intended to awe and inspire you with the most delectable of Thanksgiving themed crochet projects, but instead I ate turkey, drank wine, and freaked out about my upcoming craft show next Saturday.  You’ll forgive me, won’t you?  Pretty please?

I’ve put a moratorium on new patterns for awhile – just until I get through the busy season – so instead I’m going to share the pattern for this super awesome little amigurumi penguin friend (which I made awhile ago and which is waiting patiently for its forever home come Christmas).

remember me? oh yeah, i'm still adorable!

I found this pattern on Ravelry, and it was written by the fabulous Melissa Mall.  Here’s the text:

He’s adorable! I wish I knew how to knit!

I also drank wine…lots and lots of wine…then passed out in a food coma for about 30 minutes, only to be awaken by my 8-year old cousins screaming about the living room. It’s definitely time for the holidays!
