Rabbit Recipe: Avocado Salsa

2 Nov

In an effort to improve our diet Husband and I have decided to replace at least 50% of our meals with raw food,

or as my daDdy affectionately refers to it, Rabbit Food.  Each Tuesday I’ll share my latest Rabbit Recipe, along with our raw food successes (and failures).

Enjoy!  })i({

AVOCADO SALSA

Put these things in your food processor or blender:

-1 avocado

– 1/2 bunch cilantro

– 3 tomatillos

– 1/2 medium white onion

– sea salt & pepper to taste

Turn your blender on for awhile, then turn it off again.  Pour the green goopy stuff into a bowl.  Garnish with fresh cilantro.

It will look like this:

nom nom nom

YUMMY-tastic!

PRO TIPS:

1. Make sure your avocado is nice and ripe… the creamier the better!

2. Don’t make anything else for dinner, because even if you don’t think you’re going to eat all of this, trust me.  You are.  It’s that good.

3. Don’t forget to buy the Corn Chips to scoop this stuff up.  Your husband doesn’t like to stop at the grocery on his way home from work, especially not on Warcraft night.  })i({
