I love this pattern but your instructions do not make sense. You say to chain 5 and join then in parenthesis you say, “ch2, 2dc, ch3” then (3dc, ch3) x4. In the picture, I see no 2 double crochets – all look like 3 or 4 double crochets. Please clarify. I would really love to make these. Your help would be so appreciated. Thank you. I’m not the designer but, you do the round 2 instructions: inside of the ring that you created in round 1.
round 2: inside of ring: (ch2, 2dc, ch3), *3dc, ch3*, rep * 4x. sl st to close. 5 total points.
Hope that helps.
As a beginner I was really confused too but this is actually a quick and easy pattern once you realize that each set, ie: (3dc, ch3, 3dc) is done in each hole that was created with a chain the round before. It seems like you will really be stretching the thread when you advance to the next hole but it does work. Hope this helps!

Can you please answer the above question? I also cannot follow your instructions.
