You may remember my mystery project from the other day:
I got lots of suggestions for what it should be, and I even got my first e-mail suggestion from a person I don’t know! Woo hoo! Someone I don’t know is reading my blog! Most of you thought it should be a potted plant cover of some kind, but I ended up taking inspiration from my niece. Ducka suggested I turn it into a bucket for her, and though I didn’t do exactly that, I did end up with this:
A cute little drawstring purse, perfect for a tiny three year old to collect things in! I was toying with the idea of making bags for my nieces for Christmas anyway, and this will work beautifully since I have enough freecycle yarn left to make another one for the Goose (How much do I love my nieces’ nicknames, by the way? Too cute)! Anyway, these little bags will be perfect for the girls’ bigger gifts, which I’ll give you a sneak peek of:
So, there you have it. Hopefully the girls will forget all about this post by Christmas. })i({
That’s super darling! They’ll flip over them!
